Racism on stand up comedy of David Chappelle

This video clip from "youtube.com" is part of David Chappelle's stand up comedy show. David portrays racism as if it is nothing more than a joke. His attitude towards racism, therefore, affects the audience to agree with David's opinion on racism. Stand up comedy is very popular in United States. Although he is not the only comedian who talks about racism in front of hundreds of audiences, Chappelle's speech is very powerful in influencing the audiences.

David's video portrays another culture of U.S. African-Americans and the minorities including Indians, Mexicans, and Asians are allowed to speak about racism freely. David Chappelle talks about racism using racist terms, yet audiences do not think that it is wrong. Other comedians who belong to minority groups such as Carlos Mencia or Russell Peters also talk about racism, but many think it is suitable for them to speak freely. If a white man, however, would show a racist act, he would probably be threatened by millions of people because he is white.
